Autodidacte, mes premiers pas dans la poterie ont été pour appuyer ma conjointe dans son projet d'installer un atelier. Rapidement, je me suis passionné à l'idée de fabriquer de beaux objets permanents destinés à agrémenter l'environnement familial ou personnel. Le but de je poursuis est de créer des pièces qui vont résister à l'épreuve du temps, développant un rapport toujours plus étroit et plus intime avec leur propriétaire et les usagers. En effet, la cuisson simultanée du corps d'argile et de la glaçure à haute température confère un caractère unique aux poteries de grès et de porcelaine. Les décorations gravées dans la pièce ou grattées à travers une couche d'engobe mettent en évidence cette interaction étroite entre l'argile et la glaçure. Les motifs et décorations de style traditionnel, exécutés à la main, contribuent à la chaleur et à l'unicité de chaque pièce

Autodidact, my first step in the world of ceramics was to help my wife in her project to start a studio of pottery. Very soon, I became passionate by the idea to make nice permanent objects, devoted to embellish domestic and personal environment. My goal is to create potteries which will resist to the test of time and build a more and more close link with the owner or the users. In fact, the simultaneous firing of the glaze and the clay body at high temperature give a unique character to the stoneware and porcelain pottery. The decorations carved directly in the clay body or through a layer of coloured slip, make obvious this interaction between the clay and glaze. The traditional style through decorations and patterns add to the warmth and uniqueness of each piece
