Mme Diethild Schott Tiengo, native de Bonn, Allemagne, immigra au Canada en 1959 où elle a travaillé comme physiothérapeute à Hamilton (Ontario) et à Montréal QC.

En 1970, après avoir terminé un cours de trois ans par correspondance avec l'école américaine Famous Artist, elle commença à peindre en aquarelle, surtout les fleurs de son jardin et les fleurs sauvages qu'elle trouvait dans les prairies et sur le bord des routes en Estrie et à Montréal.

Elle a participé à des ateliers d'aquarelle avec Molly Lamb Bobak, Zoltan Szabo et Jacqueline Gougeon. Elle a commencé à travailler l'acrylique lors d'un atelier avec Al Brouillette.

Elle a fait des expositions solo de ses toiles à la bibliothèque de Ville Mont-Royal, à la bibliothèque Memphrémagog à Magog, ainsi qu'à Art Multi à Ayer's Cliff. Elle a aussi fait des expositions avec son mari, Luigi Tiengo, à la galerie d'art la Canadienne à Montréal et au Musée Beaulne à Coaticook. Elle a également participé à plusieurs expositions de groupe. Ses toiles font la fierté de nombreux propriétaires partout dans le monde.

Mrs. Diethild Schott Tiengo was born in Bonn, Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1959, where she worked as a physiotherapist in Hamilton (Ontario) and in Montreal (Quebec).

In 1970, she completed 3 years correspondence courses with the Famous Artist School in the U.S.A. and shortly after began painting watercolors mostly of flowers from her garden, wild flowers from meadows and roadsides in the Eastern Townships and in Montreal.

She has taken part in watercolor workshops with Molly Lamb Bobak, Zoltan Szabo and Jacqueline Gougeon, and then was introduced to acrylics at a workshop with Al Brouillette.

She has had solo shows of her paintings at the Town of Mount Royal Library, Memphremagog Library in Magog, and with Art Multi in Ayer's Cliff. She has shows with her husband, Luigi Tiengo, at the galerie d'art la Canadienne, in Montreal and the Musée Beaulne in Coaticook. She has also participated in several group shows.

There are paintings of hers in many parts of the world.
