Je suis inspiré par l'interaction entre l'homme et la nature, la façon qu'il a eu d'utiliser la force et les mystères de cette dernière dans l'élaboration de sa pensée. Je m‘intéresse aux traces, objets et signes sacrés, réels ou imaginés, utilisés par l'homme dans son dialogue avec l'univers.

Dans mon travail je mets en contact des lieux, formes, objets afin de montrer la dissemblance et la similitude de ceux-ci. Ils proviennent de lieux différents, mais aussi de temps différents pour provoquer un questionnement sur la perception habituelle que l'on a de ces objets connus.

J'essaie de montrer la poésie des choses et du monde qui nous entoure.

J'explore l'explosion de la surface plane, cette rupture permet de superposer des plans, de créer des ouvertures. Les tensions et les déséquilibres entre les différents éléments, créent la magie qui force le spectateur à entrer dans le tableau. Celui-ci devient un lieu cohérent dans lequel j'intègre des éléments sculpturaux en différents matériaux.

I am inspired by the interaction of mankind with Nature, by the ways in which the power and mysteries of Nature have influenced the evolution of human thinking. I am interested in traces of the past, and in sacred objects and signs, both real and imaginary, that humans have used in their dialogue with the universe.

In my work, I bring together places, shapes and objects in ways that show the similarities as well as the differences between them. They come from various times and places; they provoke a questioning of our usual perception of familiar objects. I attempt to bring out the poetry of these objects and of the world which surrounds us.

I explore the explosion of plane surfaces, ruptures which create openings and allow different planes to be superposed. The resulting tensions and instability between the different elements create a magical attraction which compels the spectator to enter into the work. This in turn becomes a coherent space into which I integrate sculptural elements in various materials.
