Dès l'âge de 20 ans, il a un pinceau à la main. Avec le temps le pinceau se transforma en craie pour enseigner les mathématiques au secondaire. Plusieurs expositions et vernissages furent ses premiers grands succès. Autodidacte, il devint le peintre animalier officiel de la Montérégie pour les soirées Chasse et Pêche de Molson O'Keefe. Passionné de la nature, Magog devient son lieu d'inspiration. Il se spécialise dans le domaine des fruits et du vin en utilisant la technique de quelques peintres flamands du XVII siècle. Ses oeuvres sont de vrais caméléons suivant les gourmets ou les gourmands à séduire.
