Ginette, flower photographer, participated in the Circuit for the first time last year. Since then, she has explored further the macro-photography. Some of her recent compositions reflect almost to abstraction and sometimes have a close resemblance to watercolor art.

In her photographs, the flowers and their components are viewed up close. Some of the comments collected from her visitors last year state “the meticulous care of detail and the exceptional light emanating from each one of the creations”.

Armed with these tools, I began photographing flowers close up and, using Photoshop, I isolated them from theiGinette’s talent of totally isolating the flower from its environment to bring to light all of its beauty in the tiniest of details is at the base of these results.

Whether the flowers are from here or elsewhere, whether they are indigenous, wild, cultivated, hybrid, exotic, perennial or annual, in Ginette’s eyes, each one is a work of art. Even the dandelion!
