Change the viewpoint and Vou shift perspective. Through photography, Canadian artist Christa Fairchild examines the results of changing viewer's standpoint and how it affects our emotional response.

Inspiration for her photography comes from nature - from f10wers up close to the great stone expanses of the desert. With the bare minimum, she conjures up the essence of life without expressing the whole. Intimacy is created with the subject by using depth of field and Iighting. The viewer's eye is drawn to the delicate details.

Ms. Fairchild is one of the few artists who are also an interior designer. She understands how we should live with art is a totally different experience from appreciating it in a gallery.
