She was born and she grew up in Japan. Later, when she got settled in Quebec, She wanted to manufacture something
unique of her own hands.
She studied as a commercial photographer and she traveled in several countries. Over there,
she experimented with different culture and food. It is at this moment that she developed an interest for the ceramic.
She sometimes returns to Japan to learn new techniques of ceramic art by a Japanese professor.
The ceramics is part of my life. Before getting to work, she always thinks about making visually attractive ceramics,
pleasant to the touch, and that gives desire to cook. Her objective is to use the techniques and the Japanese materials
and to create typically Japanese objects but that get married well to the local culture.
