Commitment of the artist

Once approved, each artist member personally pledges to comply with the the following instructions :

• The artist installs himself the signs supplied by the “Circuit des Arts” by means of $30 deposit, redeemable upon return of the signs in good condition.
  


• The artist must expose an artwork at the collective exhibit and donate 10% of the sale’s price to the “Circuit des Arts”.
  


• The artist must be present at his exposition site during the opening hours of the “Circuit des Arts”, from 10:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs.
  


• The artist must sell a minimum of one booklet of raffle tickets to finance the activities of the "Circuit des Arts".
  


• The artist pledges to produce an artwork for the collective project. This artwork will remain the property of the "Circuit des Arts", during and after the event.
  


• The artist accepts that his name, address, phone number and also artworks and personal photographs can be used for publication or activities selected by the organizers to promote the event.
  


• The artist pledges to not carry out any expenses in the name of the “Circuit des Arts”.
  



• The artist promises to respect the work of the other participants of the “Circuit des Arts”.



• Special Clauses : To preserve its “Maître d’oeuvre” status, the “Circuit des Arts Memphrémagog” must apply the following rules :
  
  a) During the “Circuit des Arts”, an artist, who on his site, allows an artist not approved by the “Circuit des Arts” to display, promote or sell his artworks, could face expulsion.
  
  b) It’s forbidden for an artist to use the name of the “Circuit des Arts Memphrémagog” for personal gain. Furthermore, an artist cannot promote the “Circuit des Arts” without previous authorization from the committee, having sole responsibility to publicize the event.



• The artist engage himself to give half a day (1/2) of volunteer work to the organization.
